Day two

Surprises today: deer on the side of the road grazing in New York and turtle crossing the road at the conservation area. Today we arrived in Erie with an hour and a half to pass. We went to Presque Isle peninsula, just for a walk and ended up with more than we thought. It was a beautiful walk and then a drive around the Peninsula took us to a glorious beach. We walked to the shoreline and took it all in.

Short days can sometimes give us the gem of hidden treasures. It sure was that this day. I'm thankful for my adventure companion, my husband, Richard who was so willing to explore. It is lovely to share in this beauty. This little treasure will remain in our hearts. Blessings!
