Where can I find the gentleness to travel this earth?
To hear another's sorrow and hold it softly.
To listen to another's joy and lift them happily.
To listen to another's anger until it is gone.
Where can I find the gentleness to plant joy?
In dancing through the unhelpful.
In not letting it put out the light of love.
In choosing not to be dimmed out of life.
So come plant a garden of gentleness.
Let the seeds scatter far and wide.
Let them fall where they will and don't ever,
Lose the way a gentle rain makes you dance.
