Today we send you home,
even though you left days ago.
Today we remember the best,
honor a life, so fleeting.
Yet we know you are in a care
so lovely, you believed.
This is resurrection season,
raised with Christ, baptism.
The ripples come, one drop,
such a life, such a love.
