God is a picture we paint in our own image.
Angry, vengeful, mean, and unforgiving
Because we believe this keeps order or control.
Love, kindness, gentleness, and mercy
Because this is the depth we become known.
Do we desire control so much we miss love?
Do we desire love so much we miss lessons?
God knows and in the wideness of mercy
We fall into the care of surrender and truth.
