Apology

It is so hard to admit we are wrong,

To pick up the hard words on our tongue

and utter "I'm sorry".

I'm sorry I offended you.

I'm sorry I did not respect you.

I'm sorry I didn't listen.

Such small, hard words,

Which hold healing

and life, given to everyone.
