Trust

It is hard in the dark,
  to walk with assurance.
Yet we can take steps,
  tentative, gentle, finding.
Finding our way,
  finding we aren't alone.
Seeing the shadow,
  seeing the bumps.
Yes bruised, not done in,
  not lost, just found anew.
