Give up

Surrender,
  will we ever learn?
Jesus gave up,
  gave up power,
Gave up control,
  gave up manipulation.
Surrender,
  to God, not chosen.
Gave us an example,
  to give up.
Not in failure,
  but in love.
Because giving up,
  sometimes, is gift.
