Prepared

Have we prepared enough,
  do we want to be interrupted?
Do we anticipate the change
  we will go through in allowing
This babe into our hearts,
  moving into our lives?
Do we know it will expand
  our love, our patience,
Our understandings dim?
  are we ready to welcome
One who will challenge us,
  set us free, and transform
All the once dark places
  hidden, and brought to light.
