Picking

when we pick at the thread it unravels,
makes a hole in the garment, makes it old,
makes it worn, not wanted anymore, thrown.

it is the same with people, when we pick
it makes a hole, they feel old, worn,
not wanted and thrown out, but Jesus.

Jesus came to patch the hole, make whole,
tells us we are not old or worn, the hole
is beauty, growth, strength, patched, beautiful.
