A difference

It makes a difference, this day,
  it's a day of freedom, a day of rejoicing.
This day brings everything sweet,
  what was lost is found, what was gone, here.

This day is different for our lives,
  we are not lost in sorrow,
Nor are we kept there behind this
  shadow of death, life has come.

It rains on us, pours our in flowing
  waters of life, quenching our soul.
This day is the day death, chains, binding,
  grief, strife, and all the rest fled.

God loves us, God is with us,
  God cares for our very lives.
We are loved, so go and love another,
  be made free in your loving each other.
