What is good?

A fig tree in a vineyard,
  what good comes of that?
Growing its branches,
  high long, providing shade.
Taking the water needed
  for the growth of others.
Yet here is the plan for its
  salvation in feeding.
What do we consider not
  worth the garden we have?
What have we weeded out,
  that needed planting within us?
