The day before,
  night, solemn,
    party, celebration.
A time to let go,
  explore, promise,
    be resolute, ecstatic.
A day of thinking,
  what's what, better,
     worse, weary.
Watch and wait,
  for new things,
    a new time.
Promises to do it
  differently, abundantly,
    willfully, joyfully.
