Call

Mark 10:46-52

Imagine being shut off from the world.
No one to see, no color, nothing but
Sounds, light and dark, feel the wind
On your skin. Different senses take over.
You know though what its like to see.
To have known one world and now be
In another seems unfair. Then something
Happens. The crowds, the noise,
Someone calls his name and you know.
You call and people hush you, but you
Won't give up, you keep calling for mercy.
Because you know this Son of David
Has a huge heart. He looks with love
On a rich man who doesn't understand faith.
He looks with compassion on the crowds
And feeds them, all five thousand.
He heals a woman who touches him,
But you can't see to get that close, your
Voice is the only hope, the last act of
Faith and Jesus hears, they tell you he's
Calling you, so you heft off your cloak
And run, knowing they'll guide you.
Jesus asks what you want and you ask
For your sight again and a miracle happens.
Immediately you see this wonderful man.
He tells you to find your own way because
Your faith made you well, so you follow.
You follow him knowing that this great
Thing won't be embraced by the world.
