Care

Care for what you say and do,
  we will be judged by what we
Have done and not done for
  the least of these. For the
Children we have traumatized,
  for the mothers now childless.
For those who weep and mourn,
  for those who have no consolation.
Weeping and crying out for comfort,
  and not receiving any. We are the
Perpetrators of a great violence
  of soul, we will have much to
Answer for. Because we believed
  it was politics and not Jesus
Standing off to in the margins
  with those who have lost more
Than we can even imagine. So don't
  say it was political, Jesus
Looked at the crowds and had
  compassion, where is ours?
