Invitation

Will you come with me?
  will you take my hand,
And walk with me by
  the streams so green?
Will you listen to my
  heart as I listen to yours?
Will we watch the butterfly
  flit from bloom to bloom?
Will we swim in the cooling
  waters and splash and play?
Will we lie down and rest
  on the banks of the shore
And listen to the river talk,
  watch the animals which
Come and go, eating and
  watching us as we rest?
Can you come to this shore
  of friendship and play?
