Faith

Do we have it,
  do we have enough faith?
To step out
  into the wilds of unknowing,
To keep walking
  on even in the face of danger.
We talk a good
  game, but when it comes down
To the wire,
  down to trusting, praying
With no real
  safety net, do we go on in faith?
It's so much
  easier to stand on the clear path,
To see what is
  coming next. It is so much
Harder to go off,
  into the bushes and not know what
Stands waiting on the
  other side, a hole, a chasm, blindly
We plunge further
  on because this is faith, do you trust?
