Throw away

Maybe its because we have
  become a throwaway society,
So we have come to believe
  there are throwaway people
Who determines their number,
  the definition of who is worthy?
Did we create them, breath life
  into them, knit them together?
There have been grave injustices
  done to the throwaway people.
We must remember them in
  vivid detail, because all are worthy.
All were created equal, it is one
  of our greatest words that we forget.
Buried beneath our pile of throwaways
  dig deep and find the treasure of life.
