Stand up

Stand up to the powers which are wrong
Stand up and say what is right and beautiful
In our ideals, in our faith, in our working
Stand up and call for justice and give a
Vision strong of who we are and what we
Represent in frail words those in power
Don't want to hear, that the lame will walk,
The blind will see, the deaf will hear
And this plants hope and strength and shows
Power in ways in which we cannot imagine
It is only through our becoming weak,
Vulnerable where we show our true strength
So stand up, speak up, keep up proclaiming
The good news of freedom to those captive
