Do you take it to dark corners
Do you place it in a room
Closet it away for another
Time or place, do you take
It into the least likely
Do you try to understand
Do you let it break through
Sorrow, comforting the tears
Does your light shine like
A beacon for others to know
They have found the safe harbor
Does your light shine at all
Have you taken it into those
Who need understanding,

Listen, or have you hidden
