Look of love

Jesus looked on the man with love
  deep compassion, understanding
No guilt, no condemnation, just
  a simple statement, go sell everything
No preaching, no ranting, no raving
  the look of love, deep, knowing
What if we actually had this look
  gave it to others, didn't turn our
Backs, giving instead looks of hate
  disdain, scum, not believing
Jesus was compassionate, not just
  this time, but every time
Foster this love in your heart and
  you will find Jesus at its core
