Welcome

Matthew 10:40-42

Welcome me, spring wide the door
  receive the blessing meant for you
Welcome me, take me in feed me
  let me not waste away in neglect
Welcome me, hidden away from society
  let me know I exist and am not forgotten
Welcome me, don't look away from me
  don't act as if you can't see my infirmity
Welcome me, into your hearts just
  one small act to the stranger, forgotten
Welcome me, with a cup of water
  know I am thirsting and need to drink
The cup of blessing extended, poured out
  and back to the giver, blessings for ever
