By the waters

Genesis 24:34-38, 42-49, 58-67

Give me a sign by the waters
  bursting, teeming with life
I know it will come, it does
  because the life is bursting forth
With small green things
  fresh water for drink
I will wait here in this place
  for the timing to show
Who will be chosen
  a grace, upon grace
Will she rise to the challenge
  of going so far, journeying
Away from her family
  these waters who bring her
Water is life, and she will give
  her life into faith because
These waters are strong
  clear and wise
