Cast

In the things which are simple
  it doesn't have to be hard
Bare elements, made from earth
  consumed in thoughtfulness
Yet we gate and protect
  as if they are ours to rule
God is basically present
   in everything when we open
Ourselves to the lowest and least
  in no need, but our own
