God,
You lead us through the valley of the shadow. Keep us in your arms of mercy and grace, surround us with your love, allow us to shed the needed tears of grief, and heal us. Bring us to know ourselves and pay attention to our inner hurts. Let us know we walk not this way alone and all we need is to talk, share, and be heard by another. In the name of the giver and creator of life we pray. Amen.
