We can become consumed,
  with trivial things, with hate, with difference
We can also be consumed,
  by light, hope, faith
Not turning from, but to
  in protest, in opposition
Without ever saying a word,
  planting what is good
Encouraging faith
  growing kind words
Deeds which bring light
  we are not dependent on the world
