forgiveness
How easy is it, just coming
off the tongue
To live it, display it
to others, how hard
Conditions, regulations, law
we put them first
Forgetting grace, mercy
the hard part of letting go
Jesus displayed so easily,
you will be with me in paradise
Father, forgive, they don't know
saying it still to us
My imperfect child, forgive

Give us the mercy and grace
needed for this hurting world
