The light pierces the veil of sky
A distant reminder of what is beyond
Longing looks to light, awash on
The house, an ethereal glow come
Sit in silence and wonder, awaken
The heart to the sacred glimpse
What was there is only a moment
Time marches on, gone is the light
Left desolate with all the feelings
Yet somehow a prayer arises, a comfort
Into this loss of place, time may go
We may lose ourselves for a moment
