Can you see the hand reaching out to you in kindness?
Can you accept its grasp and hold it close to you?
Do you know the heart of love that is attached?
Can you accept that you are loved and healing is
What is most desired for you because the steadfast
Love of God reaches forth to touch you and whether
You accept the treasure is up to you, you can let it
Go or violently deny it yet it never stops trying
To reach out one more time and slip its hand into
Yours giving you a companion on the journey
