We think it is knit together so seamlessly
We stand defending our own God in our image
Made to see there is no body, no Christ as head
We forget the simple lessons, the things we cling
To as absolutes, willing to stamp out any differences
Yet here we see the support of differences
Makes a stronger creation, the birds live together
One dependent on another, they can't exist
Alone or separate, insistent on their rightness
Can we not learn or see we sometimes have to
Surrender and learn how to listen so we may
Encounter God in new ways if we only would
Open our minds to living in the diversity of love
