Do you accept me as I am?
Can you show me God's love?
Do you just say things?
Or do you really mean what you say?
Do you really seek to serve Christ
In all people? Black, white, poor, rich,
No matter sexuality or worship?
Do we really open ourselves fully?
To all that God's love offers?
Where do we find the places that
Make us want to run away?
Where is the welcome limited?
In the pregnant, the divorced, the ones
Who don't see things the way we do?
Can we say follow me and learn
To respect the dignity of all?
