Still

The water wasn't troubled when the man was healed
No one raised a fuss about that, no the offense was in
Carrying a burden of the Sabbath, a day meant for rest,
To be still and here the waters are troubled, who, why
No rejoicing in the healing, no happiness in being made
Whole, did the man regret no sitting by the pool? Did
He blame Jesus for troubling his body to move? It
Makes us wonder what is the sin in telling, or in regret?
Can we move forward from the troubled waters when
The healing comes? Or do we stand blaming the healer
For drastically changing our lives? I wonder where
Is the water troubled and how do we welcome change?
