Recognize

There will be no parade today, no march, just a day out of school
And if you choose a run to the church for an hours service
No wonder the disciples fell asleep, cause we do this ourselves
We cannot watch and wait another night, day, holiday to really
Recognize who he was, after all Christ comes and is among us
In the great prophets who really understand where they are in
Relation to time and aren't afraid to speak up, yet we let them
Fall to the ground fully unheard, let us learn how to recognize
You in the faces of others and in the words of a great person
Help  us to do more than sit and watch and let the world
Slip away while we are here, yes we can make some difference
If we only try to hear the call for us to speak and do
