In the quiet of my soul

The deepest most inward part

I know you are there waiting

To listen within and deeply

Commune with the Spirit

Whose breath gives me life

I find rest in that quiet place

A shelter from all of life

The safe harbor where

Rest is found amidst the

Storms of life, the deepest

Of places within is where

I find your love the source

Of life and light that

Enlightens me
