Future

The ads have started coming on the television, Halloween is over and Christmas is the next big money maker. It takes a lot of the magic out of the season. When we become focused on the money making aspect we lose focus on God's economy. A time to be waiting eventually, a time of remembering, a time of concentrating on discipleship, a time to recognize the changing season. We need to stay in tune with God's world and timing. Not jumping ahead to the next thing. Future things we only see through a skewed vision of what we might wish for. Being in God's time means we stay attuned to the here and now.
