I believe that Jesus is the son of the living God.
I believe Jesus walked this earth and healed people
By touching their lives, hearts, and souls.
I believe Jesus fed those who were hungry
Choosing not to send them away wanting.
I believe Jesus didn't leave people alone to wrestle
With their own demons, he reached out and into their haze.
I believe Jesus loved deeply those put before him
Choosing to teach others about their prejudice
Rather than emphasize the sin everyone already saw.
I believe Jesus is within us and our actions speak
To others about who he is to us.
I believe in the mystery of walking with Jesus and trying
To figure all of this out. A lifetime is but a little while
In the great scheme of things and I want to take that challenge.
