Surrender

I lay down the armor which shields me from the day. 

Piece by piece it comes off in sweet surrender. 

Because with you, only with you God may I be that open,

This vulnerable and laid bare. Knowing a peace and joy 

Beyond what this world can offer. Can we be a 

Sanctuary for others pointing the way to this healing?

This place of rest and safety which gives precious peace

To every soul who enters in true openness. 

Thanks for this haven of rest. May we strive

To become the purveyors of it in the world.
