Listen

Listen to the still, small voice within you.

It doesn't come in the loud or obvious.

Forcing its way to be known or heard.

You have to practice listening,

listening to the quiet stillness,

listening to the silence.

Out of which is formed the words

of the ages, coming from the depths

of the soul. Quietly making its

voice heard and known.

Power does not reside in the display,

but in the still, small mysteries within.

So listen deeply, listen with your whole

heart. Dare to be still and know God.
