Isn't it wonderful when you find something that has been lost. We have been finding different items since we have moved into a new house. It is exciting to discover the treasures buried in the paper wrappings. Each one is a discovery wrapped in memories of times shared with others.
Today is the feast day of Mary and Martha of Bethany (Luke 10:38-42). In this it seems to me as though each sister has found what is important too them. I think Jesus' response to Martha's demand for Mary's help reminds us that we are found by Christ exactly where we are.
Some of us may be busy with work. Others may be contemplative. Some may be a combination of each. No matter where we stand in the scale we are not lost. We are found and known exactly where we are.
