Love

God's love so freely
poured out, given
flows to all who
reach out and accept

Yet we limit its action
with worth
with words
with fear
with contempt

Yet it flows despite
our attempts to dam
it rages on and through
despite our will to frustrate

God is not limited
only we are
by our lack of openness
kindness
warmth
abundance

and still God's love flows
