I am done with penitential Advents.

Used to keep power over women,

Women who tempt, women who

Like Mary were pregnant by another.

Instead, throw down the powers which

Bind us and look toward what is to come.

There has been enough of we are not enough.

Not loved enough, not beloved enough,

Don't have enough, Enough is enough!

Because the angel came to a young unwed girl.

Because the angels rent the sky for rogues.

Because the first good news was come, see.

You are loved from God on high, be beloved.

Let it rent the skies, Merry Christmas!
