What would it have been, to receive the message of promise?
In the sky, through the angels, in a star, and in a dream.
Would you believe, would you follow, or would fear overtake you?
Telling you to be reasonable, logical, or would you leap?
Most of us like to play it safe, work within the bounds of sane.
God leaps and disturbs us with news too wonderful.
So be bound to this ground, be reasonable, be safe.
Or let go and fly where we are next taken, trust and go.
