Watch and wonder,
which way the clouds move,
what color the sky, morn, night?
Watch for the bridge,
signaling home is near,
sign saying welcome home.
Shoots breaking soil,
coming forth with life,
through snow, or leaves?
What a sign does
is plant hope, hope for new,
winter is over, storm gone.
You are home,
you have been welcomed,
you aren't lost.
