Along the way

Along the way you find the remnants,

From others on the journey before you.

A boot, a scarf, the leavings of those fallen.

Littered on the path, on the verge, left.

Because some didn't realize how lightly

We can travel, what is of utmost importance.

It was not what was stored up for safe.

Instead, it was those who made the journey

With us, gathered round the nights flame.

Telling the bright story of how they came to be.

So don't pick up the cast off things.

Walk forward and find your fellow travelers.

Share in their story and may it change you.
