Women

 Ruth 1:1-18

You followed, not a concern for yourself.

You went to new people, a new language.

All for another person, to give a care.

To be the one who watched for her welfare.

All because she had no one, no one to care.

You laid down your life for another to thrive.

It was not bitterness, or protecting yourself

You pulled around you in your time of loss.

Instead you reached out, let your heart care.

So you were blessed, because you blessed.

This is the lesson we need to learn today.

Pulling ourselves inward, building walls

Does not protect our heart, it doesn't grow.

The only thing which does is loving again.

Letting the walls fall, risking the pain.
