There is a grace in losing,
shaking the hand, conceding defeat.
There is a vulnerability
in giving way, letting go of first.
There is a depth of character,
we meet when we see a good leader.
When the respect is give
and take, not demanded or required.
Fear only lives in possessing power
and not surrendering to freedom.
Give in to grace, be lost to love
then we will let freedom ring.
