Shelter

Today I think of those for whom shelter,
  is actually no shelter at all.
For those who are suffering, at the hand
  of another, one they loved.
One they trusted with their life, shelter,
  and all they have found is hurt.
Don't allow one to fall to the ground
  alone, without hope, broken.
Scoop them into the shelter of your wings,
  guide them into a peaceful rest.
