Today

Today is the day we remember,
Something so profound we miss
All the meaning it has to share.
A great man, a dream, a calm
In the midst of many storms.
Yet inside doubting if he was
The one who should go.
We miss the unity of the entire
Humanity Dr. King was trying
To encompass because we like
To limit his words to our narrow
Vision. Help us dig deeper.
Help us to see all whom we are
A part of so we may follow this
Wonderful dream to its end.
