Delight

Take delight in the day,
the way the wind moves the trees,
Watch the leaf fall,
drifting down so softly, joy in air.

Take the time to hear
what surrounds you, yes the noise,
But then the bird, the
wonder of it amongst all else.

Take the stillness,
invite it in, watch the heron
As it stalks it's prey,
  fishing, watching, waiting.

Take the caress of breeze,
breath, life, stirring not just loose
Things, but inside your
  own soul, notice and live.
