It is so easy to let it creep
the words are politics
They don't mean much
and the hold of what is wrong
Creeps on in and takes ahold
ligitimized by ignoring
Never taking a stand
letting the words rush on in senseless
Commentary which makes apparent
no one has learned to stand up
To a bully, we remain silent
as the wheel of power and control
Runs over us and we forget
love your enemy
Pray for those who persecute you
we shout death and join a maddening
Crowd we should have never
been in
Jesus is nailed
mocked
betrayed
Yet again
