The difference was the prayer
or maybe the consoling
About what was to come
hardship, trouble, deserted
Food for the journey on the mount
prayer given up freely
Love given back and come down
only in the suffering
Broken open, instead of inward
do we find this love
Pray, open your heart
mind and soul to what may be
Let it ring through your body
come to the shore of love
Ready to be what God has called
then transform the world
